THE WORK OF CCT
Christian Churches Together (CCT) provides a simgular space in the United States – marked by prayer, worship, and fellowship—where Christian leaders from across traditions come together to love across difference, learn across traditions, and lead together in faithful witness to the reconciling love of Jesus.
CCT’s life is shaped by three practices: faith-sharing, Receptive Ecumenism, and contextual discernment. Participants share their lived faith, receive the gifts of other traditions, and engage local contexts in faithful witness. As relationships deepen in Christ, differences are better understood, commonalities are affirmed, and trust is strengthened.
Through prayer and studying Scripture together, participants are spiritually formed for shared witness. New possibilities emerge—collaborations take root, and a credible, unified Christian voice is strengthened to address issues of life, justice, and peace in contemporary society.
