  The Second Annual Meeting of CCT  
January 8-11, 2008, Baltimore, Maryland
The leadership of forty-three churches and national Christian organizations gathered at the Conference Center of the Maritime Institute (near Baltimore Washington Airport) on Tuesday, January 8, 6:00 PM for dinner and the opening celebration.

As part of the opening worship celebration, the five CCT Presidents, Cardinal William Keeler, Archdiocese of Baltimore, Dr William Shaw, National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., The Very Rev. Leonid Kishkovsky, Orthodox Church in America, Bishop James Leggett, International Pentecostal Holiness Church, and The Rev. Wes Granberg-Michaelson, Reformed Church in America, participated. Father Kishkovsky was commissioned as the new Moderator as Wes Granberg-Michaelson finished his term, new churches and organizations were received, and the new executive-administrator, The Rev. Dr. Richard L. Hamm was commissioned.

On Wednesday, January 9, the participants, observers and visitors travelled by motor coach to Capitol Hill. There they were be joined by up to 45 seminarians and young church leaders, toured a number of sites including Bread For The World, a human services center, the offices of Sojourners/Call to Renewal, and World Vision. They spent the afternoon discerning what the strategy of CCT shall be in regard to the Poverty Initiative, and engaged together in worship.

On Thursday, January 10, there was time for the five families to meet together and engage in discernment regarding how CCT will express its commitment to evangelism. They closed the day with worship and fellowship.

On Friday, January 11, the morning was given to business including changes to the by-laws, oversight of finances, decisions about strategy, etc.
